By the Bay Podiatry was started by local Podiatrist Lauren Robinson who has been working as a Podiatrist on the Mornington Peninsula for 13 years. Working in a Sport Medicine setting throughout her career Lauren is very experienced in all aspects of podiatry and has a passion for providing providing positive health outcome for all patients no matter what the concern. As well as a passion lower limb sports medicine, in both adults and children and employs a number of techniques to aid and improve recovery from injury including massage and dry needling, rigid and kinesiology taping, as well as biomechanical and gait analysis. By the Bay Podiatry takes a holistic approach to orthotic prescription providing options in custom, semi-custom and off the shelf orthotics. 

Previously in two locations in Mornington and Rosebud we are now centrally located in the medical hub in the heart of Mt Martha at 2/4 Langrigg ave, alongside many other health professionals.

As well as Lauren, we also have Ellie Vandestadt, Rhys Pierce and Natalie Miller on our podiatry team. Please see the team member bios for further information regarding their interests.

All our podiatrists are highly experienced in Diabetic and general foot care including nail surgery and Doppler ultrasound for vascular assessment.

We also sell a large range of Archies support thongs and stock a wide range of fashion forward and foot friendly footwear brands such as Revere, Vionic, Orthoheel, Propet and Kroten. Providing a range of walkers, casual shoes and sandals for both men and women with extra depth and removable foot beds should they need to accommodate orthotics.



We accept all major health insurance and government management plans.  

You do not need a doctors referral to make an appointment at By the Bay Podiatry. Most private health funds cover Podiatric services and orthotics under their ancillary tables.

By the Bay Podiatry accepts Enhanced Primary Care Plans "EPC", Team Care Arrangement or chronic disease management plan which is a set up by your doctor through Medicare. There is a gap payment of $15 for an initial consult and $7 for follow up consults. Consult with your GP to find out whether you would be eligible for this scheme.

For return service men and women or DVA patients whether on a gold or white card need to obtain a doctors referral for their appointments and other services we can provide to be claimed under the Department of Veteran affairs.

We also accept work cover, TAC and NDIS health scheme patients.
